mtvU's Woodie Awards, a show dedicated solely to college students and their favorite bands, debuted Wednesday, Nov. 12 at The Roseland Ballroom. Packed with what seemed like 14-year-olds and creepy publicists, the award show will air Nov. 19 at 8 p.m. ET on mtvU, a 24-hour college network.

Late night, a woman's body was found in a car, outside of singer, Paula Abdul's house. According to an article on Reuters.com the woman, a contestant from season five of American Idol, was believed to be stalking Abdul. The woman, whose name was not released, was said to have committed suicide by drug overdose, according to TMZ.

When living in today's "on-the- go" society, it's understandable that when we're faced with a choice in the morning, a quick cup of coffee, tea or smoothie can be a fast alternative to a nutritional breakfast. When Jamba Juice, a "healthy choice" to an on-the-go fruit or vegetable smoothie, was introduced in 1990, it appeared that we could have our cake and eat it too.

Students Learn How to Manipulate

Queens College students met in the Student Union ballroom to learn the "Art of Manipulation" on Thursday, Oct. 28.

Yehuda Neuman, creator of the AOM, began his seminar with the arrival of 40 attendees. He explained the psychology behind manipulation and talked about methods one could use to effectively manipulate others.
